We've lost someone well worth having around -- probably not universally liked or loved but with a mind that had to be admired and respected, who put something into this life. It is unlikely that that mind in its last flickering moments engaged in discussion at imagined Pearly Gates but if it did so, it would successfully argue they don't exist, then extinguish, as each ultimately will.
